The hero of this movie was Ethan Hunt. Other characters were Jim Phelps and Claire Phelps and Sarah Davies and Hannah and Jack. They were the member of IMF. They were gathered in Prague as the member of a mission. They had to get back a CIA list. However, the member except Ethan was killed in succession.
Kittridge said that it was the mission to find a traitor who was inside IMF. Kittridge doubted Ethan.
Ethan knew that Claire lived. They decided to look for the traitor.
Ethan met a person. The person's name was Max. Originally it was a plan that Max got the real list from the traitor. However, Max had fake list. Ethan decided to steal the real list from the headquarters of CIA to know the traitor. Krieger and Luther participated in Ethan's plan.
They succeed in stealing the real list from the headquarters of CIA.
Jim suddenly appeared in front of Ethan. Jim lived. He said that Kittridge was the traitor.
However, Ethan began to see through the truth.
It was a plan that Ethan delivered the real list to Max in the train bound for Paris. Kittridge got into the train because he got an envelope that the train ticket was put in. Ethan had stuck the real list on down Max’s seat. Max said that the traitor appeared in the freight train. Jim appeared in front of Ethan and Claire who was in the freight train. Ethan knew that the traitors were Jim and Claire and Krieger. The fact came out to Kittridge. Jim tried to run away from the train. Ethan ran after Jim. Jim tried to get into a helicopter which Krieger operated. Finally, Ethan blew up the helicopter.
