Book Review 1-10 ‘The Magic Cooking Pot’

I read ‘The Magic Cooking Pot’. A little girl and her mother live in one town. They live in poverty. They have no money, so they can not buy food. They suffer from hunger. The little girl says that she is very hungry. However, There is no food in her house. The little girl cries out in hunger. The little girl sits down on a stump, and she cries. A old woman appears in front of the little girl. The old woman says that Do not cry. The little girl says that she is very hungry. The old woman gives a cooking pot to the little girl. The old woman says that it is a magic cooking pot. The old woman says that Cook, little pot, Cook. Hot porridge is finished by the magic cooking pot. The old woman says that the pot must stop before eating. The old woman says that Stop, little pot, Stop. The pot stops. The little girl eats the hot porridge. It is delicious. The old woman gives the magic cooking pot to the little girl. The old woman says that you must say ‘cook, little pot, cook’ when you use the magic cooking pot. Finally, the old woman says that you must say ‘Stop, little pot, stop’ before eating. The little girl thanks to the old woman. The little girl comes back home quickly. The little girl shows the magic cooking pot to her mother. The little girl says that ‘Cook, little pot, cook’. The pot cooks hot porridge. The little girl says that ‘Stop, little pot, stop’. They eat the hot porridge. Her mother says that this is very delicious. They eat porridge every day. They are not worried about hunger. They thank to the magic cooking pot. One day the little girl goes out to play with her friends. Her mother is alone in house. The little girl does not come back home for long time. Her mother becomes hungry. Her mother wants to eat hot porridge. Her mother says that ‘Cook, little pot, cook’. The magic cooking pot cooks hot porridge. Her mother eats hot porridge. However, her mother does not say ‘Stop, little pot, stop’. The magic cooking pot keeps on cooking hot porridge. Her mother says that please stop. However, her mother does not say the right words. The magic cooking pot does not stop. Her mother keeps on saying ‘stop’. The pot does not stop. Her mother looks for a help. However, nobody knows the right words to stop the pot. The pot continues cooking hot porridge. Her mother sees the little girl. The little girl says that ‘Stop, little pot, stop’. The pot stops. The little girl thinks that she must say the right words to use the magic cooking pot.

This novel is interesting. I read this novel quickly. I think that I can not endure hungry. I like eating very much. I think that I must be thankful for all foods.
